About me
Donna Conrad is a bestselling author whose genres include historical fiction, memoir, flash fiction, and personal essay. Her debut historical novel, The Last Magdalene, published by Cold Creek Press, has won seven national awards and is designated a “must-read” by Publishers Weekly and The St. Louis Review. Donna’s writing explores the times and lives of marginalized women, making their stories accessible to a modern audience. Her novels blend deeply researched historical facts with fiction in a dynamic, believable manner. Her published works have won numerous awards and international writing contests. Book Two of her five-book historical series, The Magdalene Chronicles, is scheduled for release April 13, 2027. Ms. Conrad has been a regular presenter at international writers’ conferences since 2017. Her interactive workshops and lectures encourage both the art and craft of writing. She writes full-time in the Pacific Northwest unless she is on location researching her next novel.
