This session unpacks the challenges of writing from the Canadian perspective and encourages writers to embrace the cringe in order to find success. Writing from a uniquely Canadian perspective isn't easy, and this session includes practice-based critical reflexive techniques to examine the Canadian identity, how it informs our writing, and why our writing matters. The seminar focuses on the creative process in a Canadian context and can be broadly applied to a range of genres.
