Chris Corvan is a Calgary-based author, publisher, podcast host, and multidisciplinary creative producer. His essay “When the Grid Breaks” was named runner-up for the 2026 Aruna D’Souza Award for BIPOC Writers. His fiction moves between literary work, speculative fiction, dystopia, and dark fantasy, often exploring identity, resilience, memory, hope, and the uneasy spaces between light and shadow.

Through House of Void Press, Chris helps independent authors publish strange, emotionally honest work without surrendering their voice or ownership. He also hosts and produces the Dripping Creativity Podcast, where he speaks with artists about process, survival, ambition, and the complicated work of building a sustainable creative life.
