About me
Ashley J.J. White (Ashley Frerichs) is a Treaty 7-based arts advocate, community builder, avid reader, and writer of poetry, fiction and creative nonfiction. Her work has been published in Berkeley Fiction Review, Shadow and Sax, and After Dinner Conversation, among others. She advocates for her fellow writers through her job at the Writers' Guild of Alberta, and when she's not writing, reading or community organizing, she's bouncing around at concerts, singing karaoke, smelling flowers, and jumping into rivers and lakes, no matter how cold.
