About me
Brian E Pearson is an author, podcaster, and songwriter whose latest book,Talking to Trees: A Journey into Soul, explores the spiritual terrain on the far side of conventional religion. The book was published by Friesen Press but prepared as an audio book by the author himself, using his home studio to record it and a professional audio company to master and distribute it through Amazon.
For almost forty years, the author was a priest in the Anglican Church of Canada. He knew both the sublime and the ridiculous of the church world, often loving it, sometimes hating it, but eventually leaving it to follow his own path. His writing, his music, and his podcast, The Mystic Cave, reflect his spiritual journey while encouraging other “faithful seekers” to find their own unique path.
He is the author of How the Light Gets In: Short Stories; Passiontide: A Novel; and Pie Face Boy: In Search of Soul. His newest book, Communing with the Dead ... And Other Tales From the Imaginal Realms, is currently looking for a home.
Brian E Pearson is a member of the Writers’ Guild of Alberta and the Alexandra Writers’ Centre Society. He lives in Calgary, Alberta, with his wife Jean, close to his three grown children and two granddaughters.
