About me
Claire Bolton is a theatre artist, stage manager, and producer based in Calgary, where she serves as co-artistic director of Full Circle Theatre and resident wrangler of budgets, schedules, and all things production management.With a background in dance, physical theatre, and clown, Claire brings a love of movement and mischief to everything she does. Her writing credits with Full Circle include Riverona, Porcelain Dolls, and What Pushes Are We Wenches Driven To?. She has worked extensively with Quest Theatre’s long-running artist residency program. She’s also taught drama and dance with Puddle of Mud Productions, facilitated youth creation with Calgary Opera’s Let’s Create an Opera program, and stage managed for everyone from indie collectives to established companies.Outside the theatre, Claire is one-third of the podcast Academy vs Audience, where she shares strong opinions on Oscar winners and cinematic wrongs. She believes in collaborative creation, practical magic, and always having a backup plan. (And snacks. Always snacks.)
