Yewande Daniel-Ayoade (Yay-wan-day Daniel Ah-yaw-ah-day) is a Nigerian-Canadian author of stories that celebrate West African history and culture. She has a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's in business administration. Her book, The Little Regent won the 2024 Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Children's Book Award.
