Canadian speculative fiction and nonfiction author, known for the novels Swordswoman in Love, Squad Thirteen, The Mermaid's Tale and Axis of Andes; short story collections Drunk Slutty Elf and Zombies, There are no Doors in Dark Places and Dawn of Cthulhu; and nonfiction works Starlost Unauthorized, Lexx Unauthorized and the Pirate Histories of Doctor Who, as well as numerous essays and short stories. Publication credits include Polar Borealils and On-Spec. A pathological writer, his works run the gammut from science fiction, alternate history, fantasy, comedy, erotica and horror. Valdron also runs a micropress, publishing authors such as Scott Ellis and R.D. Hore. When not writing, Valdron maintains a full time career as an aboriginal rights lawyer in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
