Renegade Canadian speculative fiction writer, aboriginal rights lawyer, and all round subversive iconoclast. When not railing against authority and injustice, wherever it may be found, Valdron is a pathological writer with over twenty-five books in print, numerous short stories, essays and articles in print. Significant works include Squad Thirteen, a horror novel, The Mermaid's Tale, dark fantasy, Axis of Andes, alternate history and Starlost Unauthorized, nonfiction. He has been published by Five Rivers Press, At Bay Press, and has a novel, Bloodsucker, coming out through Renaissance Press. He also runs a micropress, Fossil Cove Publishing, which he has used to publish authors such as Scott Ellis, R.D. Hore and Eve St. Albert. His favoured genres are science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, horror, erotica and comedy. Although reclusive, when approached correctly he is surprisingly personable and hardly ever bites any more.
