Diane Din Ebongue is a Cameroon-born multidisciplinary artist, storyteller and curator based in Alberta. Her work explores Afrofuturism, identity, skin tone representation, and cultural memory through visual arts, film, photography, mixed-media installations, and storytelling. She has presented solo and group exhibitions in Canada, France and Cameroon, including I See Colours and Black2TheFuture.
As a filmmaker, Diane has directed and edited several fiction and documentary shorts screened at festivals and cultural venues in France and Cameroon. Her creative writing and photography have appeared in international anthologies and literary publications.
Diane has participated in artist residencies with organizations such as the Nia Centre for the Arts and Arts Commons. She was also a Mentor in Residence with the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation and has received grants and awards from Calgary Arts Development and the Canada Council for the Arts.
