About me
Don Miasek is a two-time Aurora Finalist writing from smack dab in the middle of Toronto, Canada. His editorial work brought Amazon best sellers Imps & Minions and Aurora Finalist Strange Wars to market, as well as Speculative North magazine. His debut science fiction novel, Pale Grey Dot, was released in 2024 and is also an Aurora Finalist. As a moderator for the Toronto Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers, Don enjoys running events and reviewing submissions, providing his expertise and feedback to his fellow authors. He has appeared as a panelist at Can*Con and was featured in the SeanGeek and FastFret Podcast in promotion of Pale Grey Dot, and written articles for the 49th Shelf and All Lit Up websites.When not writing, Don can be found playing role-playing games, video games, and programming. He once beat Wing Commander II straight through without dying, an accomplishment sure to amaze tens of people.
