Faye Arcand is an award-winning author who embraces the gritty reality in characters and situations. She writes contemporary domestic suspense while dipping into the realm of thriller and women’s fiction. Her works are relatable and meant to spark discussion. Arcand worked for several years within the Canadian criminal justice system, witnessing and experiencing what most do not. She is also a seasoned world traveller who loves to listen and observe those around her. Every experience is fodder for her twisted writer brain as she’s fascinated by the unique quirks and the various perspectives life can present as she peers through the lens of deviance, mental health, fear or anything remotely antisocial, weird or different. As an author, Arcand doesn’t question the motivation or direction of her muse, she just knows everyone has a story worth telling. While not writing or eavesdropping, she enjoys a purring cat, quality chocolate and ‘reality’ television. Arcand lives somewhere in the wilds of British Columbia.
