A former WWC keynote, Leanne Shirtliffe is a certified AWA writers' workshop facilitator.
Leanne is published in many genres, including middle-grade fiction, picture books, adult memoir, and poetry; most recently, her poems have appeared in The Kenyon Review, The Baltimore Review, Carousel, and FreeFall magazine. Leanne grew up in Manitoba; has taught in Ontario, Alberta, Bahrain, and Thailand; and now calls Calgary home. She also runs generative workshops on Zoom and publishes a free Substack called Chasing Wonder at https://leanneshirtliffe.substack.com/
