About me
I have written over 40 short stories, mostly in the crime genre, appearing in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine, the People’s Friend, and various anthologies in Canada, the UK, and the USA. Writing short stories provides opportunities for variety and I'm always happy to talk about that. I am an executive committee member of Sisters in Crime – Canada West, chairing the anthology committee, and also serve on Crime Writers of Canada's awards committee. My novel, Murder is Uncooperative, is a mystery set in a non-profit housing cooperative in Vancouver, and I am a long-time advocate of affordable housing.
