About me
Pamela Donison, JD, (PJ Donison) writes soft boiled murder mysteries and women’s literary fiction. Her self published works include the Camelia Belmont Mystery Series: Death Comes For Christmas (2022), Death At The Crossroads (2024), and Death of the Butcher (Fall 2026).
Pamela (with co-author Leina Pauls, pen name Diana Venator) is currently querying The New Furies Guide to Vengeance, a mother-daughter, modern retelling of the Furies myth. The duo’s second novel, The Accidental Assassin (pen name Diana Chasseur), is a revenge tale featuring a fed up court reporter, querying in Fall 2026.
Pamela has presented at WWC (2022, 2025), created / led a 4-day residential creative writing retreat in 2018, and has hosted numerous webinars for SinC Canada West. Pamela is past president of Sisters in Crime Canada West, and a member of Crime Writers of Canada, Writers Guild of Alberta, Alexandra Writers Centre Society, as well as a practising member of the State Bar of Arizona. When they aren’t gallivanting, Pamela and her spouse, Brian, live in Lethbridge, Alberta.
