When Words Collide 2026

Peter G. Reynolds is an award-winning writer and podcaster from Toronto, Canada, and is the 2023 Aurora Award winner for Best Science Fiction & Fantasy Short Story. He is the author of the children’s picture book Lost Hallway and the award-winning novella Stitches in Time Travel.

Alongside his writing career, Peter has worked as a video producer and media trainer for over 20 years. He also hosts Musings and Other Nonsense, a podcast of original children’s stories and poems, and is currently working on a YA urban fantasy novel. A member of the Toronto Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Group, Peter is passionate about running workshops and educational events for writers, including Improv Your Writing sessions that draw on his Second City training to help writers create original characters, craft authentic dialogue, and break through writer's block. When he’s not writing, he can often be found roleplaying, where he’s known for creating cinematic, story-driven campaigns.
