Steffanie Costigan is an investigative reporter and journalist specializing in crime, homelessness, and the hidden stories that define our communities. Known for her fearless reporting and ability to humanize complex issues, she brings clarity, honesty, and empathy to every piece she produces. She is the creator and host of the podcast Off the Record, where she tackles real-world problems with depth and unfiltered insight. Her media background includes cohosting Rogers TV’s Positively Literary, a program dedicated to celebrating authors, storytelling, and the transformative power of books. In addition to journalism, she is an award-winning novelist with three published titles and a fourth in development. Her novel Land of the Dragon has received multiple awards, highlighting her strength as both a reporter and a creative storyteller. Currently, Steffanie is earning her bachelor’s degree in English and a Certificate in Creative Writing at the University of Calgary.
