Tema Frank has been a writer since she pencilled her first book of stories and poems for her hospitalized Grade Two teacher. Now the author of two award-winning business books (PeopleShock: The Path to Profits When Customers Rule and Canada’s Best Employers for Women: A Guide for Job Hunters, Employees and Employers), Tema is writing her first historical novel, Red Rules, about a young socialist activist in Revolutionary-era Russia and New York. A former freelance journalist and digital communications innovator, in 2001 Tema (whose name rhymes with Emma) founded Web Mystery Shoppers, the world’s first company to test web-related marketing effectiveness using remote website testers. She began blogging in the early 2000s and podcasting in 2012. Tema loves to travel, and has spoken and taught in Canada, the United States, France, Kuwait, Mexico and South Africa. She is a member of the Historical Novel Society, The Writers Union of Canada, and past-President of LitFest: Canada's Original Nonfiction Book Festifal.
