About me
Since 2005 Vanessa Cardui has brought her unique and eclectic talent to every convention, festival, fair, fire, dive bar, LARP, street corner, webcam, and flatbed truck she could find, and has been representing the craft of songwriting at When Words Collide since 2012. Her writing reflects the rich diversity of her interests, which include gods and goddesses, mermaids and minstrels, and the canonical classics of our culture (e.g. Moby-dick, Oedipus Rex, and Series 1 of Red Dwarf). She harbours an alarming propensity to swing between the whimsical and the tragic and invites you to sit and swing along with her.
