About me
Lavinia Leon (MD, PhD, AuDHD) was born in Romania and writes about the times and forms of Home from amiskwaciwâskahikan / Edmonton. Her writing orbits around the in-betweens — those transitions, neither-here-nor-theres where we might be most alive. Lavinia received an Honourable Mention in the Off Topic Contest (creative non-fiction, 2023), was longlisted for the Magpie Award for Poetry (2024), and shortlisted in the Off Topic Publishing First Chapter Contest (2026). Her two chapbooks, Wallachian Lullabies and don't say no-no to dada, appeared in 2025. Lavinia is a reader for The Masters Review. She can be found writing her ways Home at LaviniaLeon.com.
